The Wand of Fire is a wand added by Thaumcraft 3. When used, the wand will shoot a cone of fire, hurting and setting on fire anything in its path. However, its range is limited, the shortest of the special wands.
Hitting a mob with it will do normal punching damage but it will also set the mob on fire.

You have successfully adapted the enchantment on an apprentice wand. It is now capable of sending forth a cone of elemental fire, burning all in its wake.
However the wand has lost the ability to renew its charge and will eventually run out of energy and break.
This wand produces a torrent of fire on right click which cannot set blocks on fire but can hurt mobs.
