Tungsten Dust is a type of dust added by GregTech.
Production[]
Tungsten Dust is mainly obtained by macerating Tungstate Ore or Tungsten Ore.
It can also be obtained as a by-product when processing Lava (16 Cells, Capsules or still lava being pumped in true pipes) in an Industrial Centrifuge, these are how ever tiny piles that need to be crafted into Dust. This also goes for Endstone Dust, the amount is the same as with Lava (16 units) but it uses a lot less EU and time compared to processing Lava.
The other way of getting Tungsten Dust is by using 4 Uranium Dust in a Industrial Centrifuge, witch also yields 2 pieces of Thorium Dust.
- SideNote: The best way of getting Tungsten Dust early game is to use the Industrial Centrifuge and process Lava in it, keep in mind though that when using Cells or Capsules they are consumes in the process.
Usage[]
Tungsten Dust can be smelted into Tungsten Ingots, made into Wolframium Cells, crafted into 4 Tiny Piles of Tungsten Dust or be used as Amplifier for the Mass Fabricator (Required: 166.667 EU 4 items Amplifier: 50.000).
The smelting of Tungsten Dust requires a Industrial Blast Furnace with a heat capacity of 2,500K
