Static Boots are an upgraded version of Iron Boots, added by IndustrialCraft2. They make use of the tiny kinetic charge generated by walking to fill up a worn Bat-Pack, Lap-Pack or Electric Jetpack very slowly (1 EU every 5 blocks of walking). They do not provide Armor points (although there is a bug that makes the boots reduce fall damage).
