Not to be confused with the Silicon Boule that is used to craft Silicon Wafers; also not to be confused with the Silicon Cell added by GregTech that is used in the creation of Solar Panels.

The Silicon Wafer is an item added by the RedPower 2 mod. The Silicon Wafer can be made into either Blue-Doped Wafers or Red-Doped Wafers by placing it into an Alloy Furnace or Blulectric Alloy Furnace with Nikolite or Redstone, respectively. Red-Doped Wafers can then be used in the creation of many RedPower 2 machines and items, whereas Blue-Doped Wafers can be used in the creation of Solar Panels, Thermopiles, or Light Sensors.
