The Scoop is a tool from Forestry used to collect bees from beehives. To use, one simply mines the beehive with the Scoop the same as one mines Stone with a Pickaxe. Bees and various combs can be acquired from beehives this way. The bees can then be used in Apiaries. Most other methods of breaking a beehive drop nothing.
Thaumic Bees adds the 2 times more durable Thaumium Scoop. The Mining Laser can also be used as a scoop to obtain bees by simply firing it at a hive. The Quarry will successfully harvest bees from a hive.
