Sapphire is a gem added by RedPower 2, like Rubies and Green Sapphires. They can be found semirarely underground. Seen as far down as level 10 but also higher up around level 45.
Usage[]
Like other gems, it can be used to construct the basic tools, including axes, pickaxes, shovels, swords, handsaws, and sickles. They can also be crafted into a block. The tools made of Sapphires mine as fast as diamond tools, and last two times as long as iron tools (501 uses). They cannot mine Obsidian.
Like other gems, it can be macerated and centrifuged to extract impurities. When centrifuged gives 2 aluminum dust and 3 compressed air cells. Needs 3 empty cells and 8 sapphire dust.
