Steve's Carts 2 Engines. Engines are a vital part of a cart, they allow it to move without a players help, there are four different engines.

It is recommended that for carts that are above ground for long periods of time but also go underground you install Solar and Coal Engines.

Solar Engines[]

Basic Solar Engine[]

The Basic Solar Engine is a weak engine that functions like regular solar panels, no blocks must be above it or it will not produce energy.

  • Side: Top
  • Pros: cheap, good for mass-producing, Renewable
  • Cons: Stops working under cover, Slower, Weaker, Large
