Ribbon Cable is a block which is used much like Bundled Cable; however, instead of transmitting Redstone signals for long distances, it transmits information from different parts of a computer. This makes it possible to have the Central Processing Unit of a computer in a completely different place from its Monitor and from its Disk Drive. Ribbon Cable is also used in connecting an IO Expander to the Central Processing Unit, allowing Redstone signals from Bundled Cable to be translated into computerized binary signals and delivered to the Central Processing Unit to influence computer programs.
