| This article is about the pump from RedPower 2 which pumps liquid through Fluid Pipes. You may be looking for the pump from IC2 or from BuildCraft which are used to fill Empty Cells and transport liquid through Waterproof Pipes, respectively. |
The Pump is a block added by RedPower 2 which allows for Water, Lava, Oil and Fuel to be transported from place to place using a system of Fluid Pipes. Pumps can be used to transport these fluids from the outside environment into a system of Fluid Pipes, much as Grates can, which can then allow fluids to be placed in a different location in the environment. This allows for fluids to be easily transported to and from locations. When using a Pump, the thick side is the input side and the thin side is the output side.
Pumps need to be powered by some form of Blutricity to function. Pumps can transport or accelerate liquids further through a system of Fluid Pipes in addition to being able to remove fluids from the environment.
