The Painter is used to paint cable so they only connect to cables of the same color. This can be used to prevent mixing different kinds of current or to prevent excessively high CPU usage due to Cable intersections. Painters can also paint Construction Foam Walls, metal posts, and Wool.
Before you can color Cables you must first dye the painter by placing it in a crafting grid with a dye of your choice.
