A Notebook, in tandem with a Writing Desk, allows you to write your own Ages.You simply put the Notebook in the top left corner of the GUI, and the Descriptive Book in the top right.
A Notebook with no Symbols and an unwritten Descriptive Book in a Writing Desk.
If the Descriptive Book is unwritten, it allows you to add Symbols from your Notebook to the previously unwritten Ages.If you have already travelled to the Ages in the descriptive book, and you do not have those Symbols in your Notebook, the Writing Desk writes the Symbols to your Notebook.
