Lead Wire is an item from Factorization. It can be placed in the world to transmit Charge. It can be placed along the sides or bottom of other blocks, allowing it to easily go up or down walls. It does not lose energy over distance, unlike Buildcraft Conductive Pipes or IC2 Cables.

Lead Wire must be placed against a block. It can travel along the sides or bottom of a block. However, to go from one side of a block to another requires placing an extra piece of cable. This can be seen in the picture below:
The left stone brick block has lead wire placed on the top and side. For them to connect, you need to place a third piece of lead wire in the block between them to allow them to connect, as can be seen on the right piece of stone brick.
