Inert Stone is an item which can be crafted into a Minium Stone, which allows for item transmutations. The inert stone otherwise has no uses.

In Equivalent Exchange 3, You need a Aludel with fuel, with a Glass Bell on top. You need 8 Minium Dust and the Inert stone in the Glass bell and it will come out as a Minium Stone.
