The Industrial Electrolyzer is a machine added in GregTech 2.06. The Electrolyzer works approximately 10 times faster than an Industrial Centrifuge, depending on the recipe. It has some of the abilities of the Centrifuge. It can accept 128EU/t (MV) without problems, and most recipes can consume over 50 EU/t (most are more energy consuming). You can electrolyze Water Cells much faster with this than the regular Electrolyzer.

Usage[]

Industrial Electrolyzers work with certain kinds of cells. This machine has 2 input slots and 4 output slots. The left input slot is for cells and right is for dusts. Each recipe has one to four products.

Industrial Electrolyzer is most commonly used in recipes where individual elements need to be separated from the compounds rather than to separate compounds themselves (That role is filled by industrial centrifuge). Thus it can be used to separate iron and sulfur from pyrite or lithium from clay. The chemical formula below the item to be electrolyzed roughly determines what kind of end products are yielded.

When this machine is recieving less than the power required for the current process (ex. 128EU/t for bauxite), a message "Insufficient energy line" appears. It's better to have a dedicated power generator or a MFE inline to produce energy for this machine for easier uninterrupted power.

It is also worth noting that if any amount of cable is used to connect the MFE or other power store to the Industrial Electrolyzer there is the risk of power loss from transmission. Using the previous example for bauxite, connecting an MFE to the machine via two or three pieces of 2xIns Gold Cable, the packet of 128 EU/t will lose 1 EU/t from resistance resulting in the machine recieving just 127EU/t. This is enough to cause the machine to 'crash' and continualy drain power. If it is impractical to dedicate an MFE or other MV or higher power storage, it is highly recommended that you use Glass Fiber for power transfer; This allows 39 blocks between power source and machine without transmission loss. 

External Input/Output: Industrial Electrolyzer accepts empty cells from the bottom, input materials from the top, and allows extraction of the resulting products from the sides.
