Glass is a vanilla item of minecraft, used for building, decoration, and crafting. It can be made by putting sand into any type of Furnace.

Along with these crafting uses, putting glass into a Smeltery (with Tinker's Construct) will produce Molten Glass that can then be extracted into a Seared Basin for Clear Glass. Clear Glass and Clear Glass Panes do not have the marks regular glass does, making it a possible alternative for building; however, it does still have outlines to prevent invisible walls.
