Fuel is a liquid added by buildcraft.
You get it from Refinerys.
In 1.4.7 packs you cannot place the liquid but in 1.6.4 packs you can.Fuel is used in combustion engines.They are a lot better then oil itself.
But the heat of the engine increases if using fuel.
