The Exo-Modder is a block from the mod Factorization. It is used to add upgrades to pieces of the Exo-Armor set. (Exo-HelmetExo-ChestplateExo-leggings, Exo-boots).

The Exo-Armor is indestructible but provides no protection or benefits until it is upgraded.

Current Exo-Upgrades include:[]

Vanilla Armors[]

This is presently the only way of protecting yourself with Exo-Armor. The clothing type of the armors must match. Multiple armor upgrades will not stack; only one will be used until it wears out.

Buoyant Barrel[]

This makes you fly very quickly to the surface when you are in water.

Cobblestone Drive[]

This will generate cobblestone for you! Never run out of cobblestone again! The cobble will despawn after a few seconds.

Shoulder-Mounted Piston[]

Push blocks everywhere! Be the Enderman! This will push a block that's in front of you, either the upper block, or the lower block. You must be standing in a clear space to use it. You can also push vertically by looking straight up or down.

Wall Jumping Boots[]

This upgrade allows you to push backwards off a wall when you jump at it. It's useful for speed boosts or repeatedly jumping between two walls.

To use the Exo-Modder place the Exo-Armor piece you want to upgrade in the left box and then the upgrade(s) in slots that appear. Then press E to exit the interface. The armor piece you upgraded will fall on the floor and with the upgrades installed.

When upgrading with multiple armors the left most armor will be used first until it breaks. If you put an Iron Chestplate in the left-most upgrade slot your Exo-Armor will apply the armor rating and the durability on the iron chestplate to the Exo-suit.  Using this you can put multiple chestplates in the upgrade slot and the exo suit will apply them in turn as the armor pieces break.  So say you put a leather chest piece in the left-most slot and then an iron one in the next slot.  You will have the armor rating of the leather piece but when the leather piece breaks the exo-suit will use the iron chestpiece and your armor rating will then be that of the iron chestpiece.  So at first glance it's pretty useless, but the fact that you can put any other piece of armor in it makes it a must have, the mats aren't too expensive and it'll last forever.
