Ender Pearl Dust is an item created by smelting an Ender Pearl in any type of Furnace. Doing so produces 8 Dust, which is enough to create a Miniature Black Hole. Thus, only one Ender Pearl is necessary to create a Portal Gun. Ender Pearl Dust's only use is in creating the Miniature Black Hole; thus, it is only necessary to smelt one Ender Pearl per Portal Gun needed. If necessary, Ender Pearl Dust can be lossily converted back into an Ender Pearl by placing 9 in a square in a Crafting Table.
It is important to note that Ender Pearl Dust from the Portal Gun Mod and Ender Pearl Dust from the GregTech mod are not interchangeable, fulfill completely different functions, are created at different ratios and in different methods and cannot be exchanged with one another.
