Diesel Generator is part of the GregTech mod which produces energy when operated. The Generator will run on different kinds of fuel and has a maximum output of 12 EU/t. This machine has one major advantage over the Combustion Engine because there is no cooling needed.
For comparison, a bucket of Biofuel will produce 200,000 MJ in a Combustion Engine, which can be turned into EU at a rate of 24:30 (1.25 times more EU for each MJ) by generating cobblestone with an Igneous Extruder, turning it into lava with a Magma Crucible and then piping the lava (not needed if the magma crucible is attached to the thermal generator) to a Thermal Generator. In the Diesel Generator, the same bucket of Biofuel will produce only 32,000 EU rather than 250,000 EU. Other fuels may give more comparable results.
Note that the diesel generator DOES NOT burn diesel canisters obtained by distilling crude oil/oil sand.
