The Blank Floppy is an unedited floppy disk used in RedPower computers (consists of a Disk Drive (RedPower 2), a Central Processing Unit and a Monitor) that can be edited by using the Monitor to input text commands or can be turned into a FORTH Boot Disk to perform the initial boot operation on the computer. Due to the fact that a Blank Floppy can be edited to contain information that can be then interpreted by computers, it cannot stack with other floppies even in a blank state.
To craft a FORTH Boot Disk to perform the initial boot operation, a Blank Floppy is needed. The recipe to craft a FORTH Boot Disk is hidden from the NEI interface as is the item itself, even if the item ID for a FORTH Boot Disk (5270:1) is entered into the search box. However it is possible to look up uses for Blank Floppy to get the FORTH Boot Disk recipe.
