Thaumonomicon Entry[]
To create an Arcane Worktable, simply right-click with a Casting Wand on a table you have placed in the world. The Arcane Worktable serves the same purpose as a normal crafting table, with a few key exceptions.
Apart from normal crafting recipes, it can also craft some of the items unique to Thaumaturgy. To do that you need to place a Casting Wand like the Wand of the Apprentice in the slot in the bottom right. This will allow you to craft items that require vis by drawing the energy directly from the wand. However, being basic magical machines, they cannot interact with crucibles, meaning it cannot craft more advanced arcane recipes.
Wands do recharge while in the worktable, but at a much slower rate than they would in your inventory.

It's also nice to duplicate your items. You have to break it when you have something in it and then you'll have the things that you needed for crafting, the crafted thing and the arcane worktable in your inventory. However doing this makes you a terrible person and will get you banned on almost any server.
Glitch: right-click doesn't always work on the crafting table.
